Ideas for the future
- Talking about & clearly showing the old days important for older gen (this new fangled technology was confusing), how can we make these things more accessible? Constance didn't understand anything really! :)
- Pete Smith, has video recordings of the local area (0208-305-1267) enderby street. He thought is was very important to record these areas in periods of such change.
- Properly instigating a mechanism for recording how images, audio & people relate to each other on the site is an important area to develop on this site. This would take things beyond simple lists & present the content in a more meaningful way i.e. the interesting thing about any object isn't what its called its how it relates to the world & the people that manage its existence....
- Need to advertise the project (best ways to do this?) Talked about this ALLOT!
- Changing skylines (canary wharf) is a potential interesting way to develop this project (looking back to the Dome??)
- Comments for George: It was interesting last night. thought this morning that the next stage is to put the audio and images together in some kind of edited film 5min short. You could get it screened at local cinemas before features?
- Create a live book? (embedded audio???) to make things more accessible
- Museum of London (open communication regarding www.20thcenturylondon.org.uk possibly tying into it)
- Automatically present images/audio related by term into a page.
- RE: the feedback process: Discussion good, though perhaps a big sheet for every project where people could have written (un)structured comments would have been useful.
- Web 2 technologies shoe horned into structured site format (comment from Pete) would be interesting to discuss this more. + relationships module stuff.
- Need bugs review...
- The following website allows you to call a number and leave a message which can be incorporated into a website: www.phoneblogz.com
Edits
- Misspelling: Constance Malcomber (changed 'e')
We should add a bit more
Was just thinking we should add a bit more background the project & how it was put together....
