I was born in Manchester in 1944 & moved to Marlton Street in 1949. My spouse, Loraine ( nee Lockwood ) was born in 1948 at St Alpheges Hospital. She lived in Marlton Street, later moving to Keplar House ( near Dyson House ) off Woolwich Road. Her Grandparents, owned the Mitre Pub during the War and moved from it after the end of the War.
I moved to Eltham in 1966, Loraine moved about to Plumstead about the same time.
My youngest brother still lives in Greenwich, in Bellott St.
We have quite a few photos of East Greenwich / Mitre Pub ( War Time ) etc. which I shall forward to you when I sort them out.
