MARY MILLS, local historian extraordinaire, will be coming to a Gasworks to Dome session at 7.30 on TUESDAY 9TH MAY. This session will replace our normal session of 10th May. We will be recording Mary as she talks about the old photos we have, and she will also be introducing to us many old photos which she will be allowing us to use.
Don't miss it! What Mary Mills doesn't know about East Greenwich isn't worth knowing.

Sorry to have missed Mary..
Sorry to have missed Mary Mills on May 9, 2008. My interest as a relative of Samuel and George Cutler of the firm Samuel Cutler and Sons Ltd of Providence Ironworks, Millwall is with their engineering activities, especially as it concerns gas holders and other major iron works projects.
I live in Canada, though I am at Kent University, Canterbury this year. Any light that one can shed on the company, its activities or remaining relatives still living in the London area would be most welcome.
